Spring has hit the settlement and it smells like mead.
Sand Sailor Studio just dropped the Hearth & Honey update for ASKA, adding a full beekeeping and brewing chain, a new Tavern tier, settlement storage analytics, and a new reason to send hunters underground.
What's new

Beekeeping and mead. Send a crew out to the marsh islands to track down Wild Beehives hanging from hollow trees. The bees won't make it easy. Bring one back, build a Bee House, and start producing honey (heads up: Bee Houses drop area desirability, so place them thoughtfully). Assign a Brewer to turn honey and water into mead using reusable barrels crafted at the Tier 3 Workshop House.
Drinking Horns. Craft a horn, fill it at a Tavern's drink dispenser, and take your mead to go.

Tavern House Tier 3. A new Tavern tier with a large mead barrel. Villagers drinking mead at the tables get healing and a happiness boost, with thirst still covered. For now it's straight-up better than water.
Settlement Storage Statistics. A new graph view shows how your stockpiles trend over time. Snapshots update every 12 in-game hours, with a lookback feature for comparing to an earlier point in the session. Useful for catching a supply problem before it becomes a famine.
Crawler Hunting. Hunters can now delve into mines to hunt baby crawlers. Enable it at the Hunter's Hut or Hunter's House. Your hunter needs to hit level 15 proficiency, and no special gear is required.
Worth noting
A couple of quality-of-life changes from the patch that are easy to miss:
- Villagers will now use mead as a healing item and actively seek it out.
- Several save-migration issues between versions have been fixed, so older saves should upgrade cleanly.
- Cooking Houses, Cheesemakers and the new Brewery now stockpile resources correctly (was causing workflow stalls pre-patch).
- Villagers no longer get stuck sitting at the Tavern after a meal.

Have fun out there, and watch out for the bees.
