GG Host is the official hosting provider for SCUM. We run the official SCUM servers for Gamepires, and customer servers run on the same hardware and network.
Patches install automatically. When Gamepires ships an update, your server picks it up without you touching anything. Support is staffed around the clock, on tickets and on Discord.

ggCON: The Free SCUM Admin Panel
Every SCUM server here includes ggCON, our own admin panel. It runs in the browser, and the whole system lives on the server itself: no in-game character (IGC) to keep logged in, no second PC running SCUM in the corner.

It also adds commands the base game doesn't have. #ListPlayersJson returns every player's SteamID, position, fame, balance and gear weight as JSON. #Broadcast pushes color-coded server messages. #SetSkillLevel and #SetImmortality work without database edits. Item, vehicle and entity spawning get searchable panels, so nobody has to memorize item codes. If you run moderators, ggCON_allowed_commands.txt controls which commands each of them can use.

SCUM Trader & Economy Editor
Trader prices live in EconomyOverride.json. One missing comma and the whole file stops loading. Our panel has a graphical editor for it: change prices and stock in a form, save, done.
The raw files stay yours. ServerSettings.ini, EconomyOverride.json, RaidTimes.json and Notifications.json are all editable over SFTP, and the knowledgebase documents each one.
Quarter Master: In-Game Item Shop
Quarter Master is part of ggCON, and it earns its own section because it's the feature admins ask us for most: an item shop for your server. Price items in Cash or Rations. Players buy what they need instead of waiting for an admin to spawn it in.
Purchases go to a stash, so someone can buy from the website at work and collect it when they log in that evening. Like the rest of ggCON, the whole bot system runs on the server. No in-game character, no second PC. Included with every SCUM plan.
DDoS Protection Built for Game Traffic
We wrote our DDoS mitigation in-house on XDP and eBPF. Packets get inspected in the network driver, before the operating system's network stack ever sees them, and attack traffic is dropped there at wire speed.
In practice: attacks come in, players keep playing. No extra charge.

How fast is my SCUM server set up?
Minutes. Servers deploy automatically after checkout, and the 10–20 player plan has no setup fee.
How many players can a SCUM server hold?
Up to 128. There are two plans: 10–20 players at $14.59/month and 20–128 slots at $36.85/month. Both run 12GB of RAM and M.2 NVMe drives.
Is a GG Host server a SCUM dedicated server?
Yes. It's a dedicated server with its own resources, online whether you are or not.
Can I upgrade my SCUM server later?
Yes. Start on the 10–20 player plan and move up to the 20–128 slot plan when your community outgrows it.
How much RAM does a SCUM server need?
Our plans ship with 12GB, which covers a full server. The 16GB figure you may have read is the minimum for a PC playing the game, not for the server.
What is ggCON, the SCUM admin panel?
Our browser-based admin panel for SCUM, free with every server. It runs entirely server-side, so there's no in-game character to keep logged in and no second PC running SCUM. Live player map, activity feeds, spawn panels, and commands the base game lacks. Docs at ggcon.gghost.games.
How do SCUM admin commands work?
Press T in game and type a command starting with #. SCUM has 6 player commands, 118 admin commands and 2 SuperAdmin commands. Examples: #Ban 76561198012345678, #Teleport 200000 -350000 25000, #SpawnItem Weapon_AK47 1. The full list with syntax is in our knowledgebase.
How do I configure SCUM's ServerSettings.ini?
Over SFTP, at <ServerRoot>/SCUM/Saved/Config/WindowsServer/ServerSettings.ini. The file holds 427 settings in six sections (General, World, Respawn, Vehicles, Damage, Features), each keyed with the scum. prefix, like scum.MaxPlayers=64. Our guide lists defaults and valid ranges for every setting, current to build v1.2.2.
How do I change loot and puppet (zombie) settings?
In the World section of ServerSettings.ini. MaxAllowedPuppets=-1 means unlimited zombies. MaxAllowedBirds=15. PuppetHealthMultiplier and PuppetRunningSpeedMultiplier default to 1.0. Loot puppets are controlled by DisableLootPuppetSpawning and EnableLootPuppetHorde. Damage has its own multipliers, including ZombieDamageMultiplier.
How do I configure traders and the SCUM economy?
Through EconomyOverride.json, or through the graphical editor in your panel if you'd rather not edit JSON by hand. For a player shop beyond the built-in traders, Quarter Master is included with every plan.
Does SCUM support mods?
There's no official modkit yet. Community mods exist. On the server side, every GG Host server ships with ggCON, which extends the game with command execution over an HTTP API and RCON.
How do SCUM server wipes work?
Three types: Full, Partial and Gold. Our knowledgebase explains Gold and Partial wipes and what each one resets. If you're not sure which you want, ask support before you run it.
Can I transfer my existing SCUM save to GG Host?
Config files, yes: upload ServerSettings.ini, EconomyOverride.json, RaidTimes.json and Notifications.json over SFTP. For a full world save, talk to support first.
